To capture the last 30 seconds of gameplay, press the Xbox button on your controller and then press the X button (Record that).
To capture a longer clip (up to the last 2 minutes), press the View button, then choose a duration.

To start recording before something happens, press the Xbox button, then select Capture & share - Start recording. You can record up to 10 minutes on the internal storage or up to 1 hour on an external storage .
To stop recording, press the Xbox button and then press the X button again.
To take a screenshot, press the Xbox button and then press the Y button.
