How to Change Brightness and Gamma in CS2 (Fix Counter Strike 2 Brightness)
5In this video I show you how to change brightness and gamma in CS2. You can change the brightness in CS2 through the video settings. In order to change your brightness setting in Counter Strike you will need to be in fullscreen mode.
If changing your CS2 brightness doesn't get your desired look, then you can try adjusting the gamma setting. You can adjust the gamma in Counter-Strike by using the console and inputting a command. By increasing the gamma your game's brightness will be toned down. Again, you will need to be in fullscreen mode to adjust the gamma settings in CS2.
Command: r_fullscreen_gamma 2.5
Be sure to change the value as needed.
