Make Modern Warfare 3 Look Better & See Enemies Easier (Improve Visibility)
This tutorial will show you how to make Modern Warfare 3 look better allowing you to see enemies easier and improve visibility. Fortunately, Modern Warfare 3 has a handful of settings that allow you to improve visibility. A great option to improve visibility is to adjust your FOV settings. Ideally, you will want to set your FOV somewhere between 90 and 120. Many prefer to set their FOV to 120 for the best viewing angle, however, this does make players appear smaller and further away. If you find it difficult to see players at distance lowering your FOV to 115 or 110 may be preferred.
Modern Warfare 3 also has a weapon field of view setting. While this is also preference we tend to get the best visibility with a wide or narrow field of view.
As with most Call of Duty games Modern Warfare 3 allows you to change the in game brightness setting. For the best visibility in MW3 be sure to set the brightness according to the provided guides. If you set your brightness too high then the game will look flat, making it harder to see enemies.
A useful feature in Modern Warfare 3 is the color customization settings. These allow you to apply a filter to your gameplay and interface which make MW3 more colorful. Ideally, you will want to set the target mode to both and use filter 2. Then you can increase the intensity of the color filter based on preference. However, to make Modern Warfare 3 look better we recommend setting the world intensity to at least 80, and world intensity to 100.
If you have an NVIDIA graphics card then you can make MW3 look better on PC using the NVIDIA control panel. Through the NVIDIA control panel you can increase the digital vibrance for your screen which will make MW3 more colorful. Additionally, you can also adjust the brightness, contrast, and gamma. By adjusting these settings you can improve visibility in shadows.
There are also interface colors which can help make it easier to see enemies. We recommend using asaturated color for the enemies to ensure they go easily noticed. A vibrant red, purple, pink, or yellow are all good options.
When adjusting the Modern Warfare 3 settings you will want to prioritize frame rate and performance, while trying to get the clearest image possible. A high frame rate will help ensure your game is updating quickly so you can see enemies quicker. To maximize this potential you will also need a screen with a high refresh rate. Additionally, a higher FPS can result in less stuttering and better performance as a whole.
Other settings you will want to change in MW3 are the motion blur options and depth of field. Motion blur can make it difficult to see an enemy as the image won’t be clear. Depth of field will blur objects that are far away, making it harder to see things in the distance, so we recommend turning off depth of field to improve visibility in MW3.
