How to Change Deadzone on Controller in Destiny 2 (Improve Aiming)
Adjusting the deadzones on your controller in Destiny 2 can significantly improve aiming precision. Here’s how you can do it:
Axial Deadzone: Set it to 0.0 if you’re comfortable with controller aiming. Axial deadzones restrict movement around the X and Y axes, acting like training wheels for stick aiming. Lower values allow for finer and pixel-precise aiming.
Radial Deadzone: Set it as low as possible without causing stick drift (where the reticle moves without stick input). This determines how much you need to move the stick from the center to move the reticle.
Additional Tips:
Increase your sensitivity by 50% and set your ADS sensitivity modifier to 0.6.
Set your Sprint-Turn Scale to 0.8.
