tutor here with another step-by-step
tutorial
and in today's video i'm going to be
showing you how you can change your
email address
for your xbox account um if you're new
to the channel

so this is very easy to do what we need
to do is open up our internet browser
and we want to come across to xbox.com
and then what we need to do is on the
top right hand corner we need to sign
into our xbox account
and once we're signed into our account
we need to click our profile icon
up in the top right hand corner and then
go ahead and click onto my
microsoft account so
everything like your xbox your hotmail
things like that is all in your
microsoft account
um so this is where you actually go to
change
things like your email address
so once you end up on your microsoft
account what you need to do
is come to the
the button at the top here which says
your info
and what you want to do is next to your
email address
you just want to click manage this one
here which says manage how you sign into
microsoft
now what it's going to do it's going to
text a code
to the mobile number they've got on
record view
and what it's going to do is ask you as
a security check
to enter the last four digits of the
phone number they have on record
and then you need to click the send code
button down here
and now what's gonna happen microsoft's
gonna text the verification code
that's come through now so i'm just
gonna pop that in
give it a couple of minutes if it
doesn't come through just go back and
uh get the code resent
and once i've entered the code i just
need to click the verify button
and we're not going to worry about this
for now we're just going to click no
thanks
okay and this is the actual screen where
you'll be able to change your email
address
uh as you can see i've got my primary
email this is the one i use
to log into my xbox account
what i can actually do is add multiple
email addresses
so just click that button enter a new
email address
and then click the blue button to add it
to change your email address what you
need to do is put the
new email address you'd add the new
email address first
and then what you would need to do is
just click the remove button here
to remove the old email address um
you can have multiple emails so for
example you could have like free emails
on here and you could actually use any
of those email addresses to log into
your account
