tutor here with another step-by-step
tutorial
in today's video i'm just going to show
you how you can change your name
in google maps um on a pc or laptop
and if you're new to the channel and you

so what we need to do first is open up
our internet
and then we need to type meet dot
google dot com
and that's going to bring us across to
the google meet
so if i wanted to do a meeting at the
moment
uh what's going to happen you'll see if
i hover over my
icon up in the top right hand corner
currently got my name set there so
martin hemings my name
what i need to do to change this to
change my name for a google meet
is actually click onto my icon and then
go down here and click on to
manage your google account
and if you look on the left hand side on
this menu you need to click onto the
second one down
which says personal info
and then from here if you look in the
middle of the page you'll see my name
there
all i need to do is literally click my
name
and what it can do is edit from here so
i can change it to
digital tutor
and once you've changed your name all
you need to do is click the save button
down here
it might not show up straight away
sometimes it can take
um sometimes it can take
24 hours to update but if i actually
come across to meet.google.com which can
have a look and see
if i now hover over my icon yeah you can
see straight away that's now changed
before it was saying martin hemings it's
now saying digital tutor
