in today's video i'm just going to show
you how you can change your name on
facebook
uh this is using a pc or
a laptop computer and this will be
will enable you to change your first and
your last and your middle name on
facebook
so if you're new to the channel or if

so what we need to do is open up our
internet browser
and first of all we want to come across
to facebook.com
and if you haven't already log into your
facebook account
what we need to do is click the down
arrow
up here in the top right hand corner
and then we want to click onto the
settings and privacy tab here
and then the settings button at the top
so from here uh
we are actually in the place we need to
be
so on the menu on the left make sure
you're in the general settings
and you'll see at the top here it says
name
your name and then the edit button to
the right
so we're going to go ahead and click the
edit button
and this is where you can change it so
what you need to do is just
change your first name to whatever you
want change your last name to wherever
you want
and uh optional to add your midway you
don't have to add your middle name is
optional but you can edit if you want to
uh
once you've changed your name you can
then
click the review change button down here
and then save your changes
if you have a nickname you can actually
put this under other names as well
you just need to click this button here
and that will add your nickname
as well as your first and last name
uh just a quick note as well as you can
see here
it does say that if you change your name
on facebook
you cannot change it again for 60 days
do not add any unusual capitalization
punctuation
characters or random words so
just take note of that uh you can
learn more about why you're not allowed
to do that just by clicking here
but yeah once you change your name all
you need to do is click the review
change button down here
uh then it should come up with a box
and if you're happy with it just click
the save button
