in today's video i'm going to show you
how you can turn your dark mode on
on instagram um on your pc or laptop
if you're new to the channel and you

so what we need to do is come and open
up our internet browser
and you'll see i'm currently on
instagram.com i'm just going to go ahead
and refresh
the page and at the moment
there's no option within instagram to
activate a dark mate
um a lot of people have tried
also going into their settings for
google chrome but again if you have look
in the search bar
and i type dark mode up here at the top
you will see unfortunately that feature
is not yet available
however what you need to do is
if you open up a new tab
and you need to type a chrome followed
by the two dots
forward slash and then flags
and it's going to bring you to this page
here
so this is basically like experimental
features
so they're not actually added to chrome
yet they're just kind of experimental
but this is how you how you do it what
what you need to do is actually click on
the search box at the top
type dark mode and you'll see they've
actually got it here
as an experimental feature
um this top option here
what we're going to do is just come
across to the box here which says
default
give that a click
and we're just going to go ahead and
click the first option here which says
enabled
and it's going to come up with a message
on the bottom saying your changes will
take effect
the next time you re-launch google
chrome
all you need to do is come to the bottom
right hand corner and click the blue
relaunch button
which is going to give that a second and
you'll see
everything has now gone into a dark
remote
and if i actually come across now to
instagram.com
you will see it has loaded up in a dark
mode format
just like say
