Maybe the email address associated with your HBO Max account got hacked. Or maybe you're shutting down that email address and you want to switch to a new one. Regardless the reason, HBO Max makes it possible for you to change the email address associated with your account. In this video I'll show you how to change your HBO Max email address through both the HBO Max mobile app for iPhone, iPad and Android devices, and also the HBOMax.com website.

Now let's walk through the steps to change your HBO Max email address.

Step 1. First, you need to access the Account screen. On the HBOMax.com website you can do this by clicking your account name at the top of the screen, and then selecting "Account." However, in the HBO Max app on iPhone, iPad and Android devices you can do this by tapping the "My Account" icon, then tapping the "Settings" icon that appears on the next screen to open the Settings menu, and then tapping "Account" in this menu.

The Account screen is displayed, showing the first name, last name and email address associated with your HBO Max account.

Step 2. Click "Edit." A screen appears prompting you to verify your HBO Max password. Enter your password. You'll return to the Account screen where the Email field will now be editable.

Step 3. Enter the new email address you want to use for your HBO Max account and then click "Save." You'll need to enter this email address when prompted for your HBO Max username going forward. Additionally, HBO Max will now send information associated with your account to this email address.
