Tutorial on changing host name of an Ubuntu or Debian based Linux Distro. This may need doing after cloning a system, or after installing a distro that uses the creators default hostname.

Instructions:
Open Terminal
sudo su
nano /etc/hostname
nano /etc/hosts
exit
Then reboot
