How to Change Screen Resolution on PS4 Console (Video Output Settings)
On the PlayStation 4, you can change the screen resolution by adjusting the display settings. Here's how you can do it:
Turn on your PlayStation 4 console and ensure it is connected to your display device (TV or monitor).
On the home screen, go to the "Settings" option in the top menu bar.
Scroll down and select "Sound and Screen."
In the Sound and Screen settings, choose "Video Output Settings."
Select "Resolution."
You will see a list of available screen resolutions supported by your display device. Choose the resolution that you prefer. The available resolutions may depend on the capabilities of your TV or monitor.
After selecting the desired resolution, the screen will briefly go blank as the settings are adjusted.
A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you can see the screen. If the screen displays properly, select "Yes." If not, select "No" to try a different resolution.
If you selected "Yes," the new resolution settings will be saved, and the screen will display at the chosen resolution.
Exit the menu by pressing the Circle button on your controller.
