How to Change Screen Size on Your PS4 (Easy Tutorial)
From the PS4 Home Screen:
Turn on your PS4 and navigate to the home screen.
Access the Settings Menu:
Use the D-pad on your controller to scroll to the top menu and highlight the "Settings" option (it looks like a toolbox).
Press the "X" button on your controller to select "Settings."
Navigate to Sound and Screen Settings:
Within the "Settings" menu, use the D-pad to scroll down and select "Sound and Screen."
Adjust Display Area Settings:
In the "Sound and Screen" settings, select "Display Area Settings."
Adjust the Display Area:
You will be presented with a screen where you can adjust the display area of your screen using the left stick and the directional buttons.
Make sure the displayed blue border lines fit comfortably within the edges of your TV or monitor screen.
Confirm Your Changes:
After adjusting the display area, press the "X" button on your controller to confirm the changes.
Test and Finalize:
The PS4 will ask you to confirm the changes again. If everything looks good, confirm the changes once more.
