How to USE USB Connection on PS4 Controller instead of Bluetooth (Easy Tutorial)
Wired Connection for Charging and Data Transfer:
Connect your PS4 controller to the PS4 console using a USB cable.
This connection can be used for charging the controller's battery as well as for data transfer, like updating the controller's firmware.
While connected via USB, the controller's input should automatically switch to the wired connection.
Wired Connection for Gameplay:
If you want to use a wired USB connection for gameplay instead of Bluetooth, follow these steps:
Connect the USB cable to the PS4 controller and your PS4 console.
Go to the PS4's Settings menu.
Navigate to "Devices" and then to "Controllers."
Find the option for "Communication Method" or "Connection Method."
Change the setting from "Bluetooth" to "USB Cable."
Your controller should now be using the wired USB connection for gameplay.
