To change the sound format on your Nintendo Switch, follow these steps:

Access System Settings:
From the HOME Menu, select “System Settings.”
Adjust TV Sound Settings:

Choose “TV Settings” and then navigate to “TV Sound.”
Select Sound Output Method:
You’ll find three options:

Mono: Use this if your TV or audio system does not broadcast in stereo.
Stereo: Ideal for stereo (Left and Right Channel) TVs or home stereo systems.

Surround: If you have a surround sound setup, this option supports Dolby Prologic II for simulated surround sound.
