To change the UMA frame buffer size on your Steam Deck for a potential FPS increase, follow these steps:

Power Off: Completely shut down your Steam Deck.
Enter BIOS: Press and hold the power button and the volume up button simultaneously until you hear a beep. This will take you to the boot menu.
Access Setup Utility: Select the “Setup Utility” option from the menu.
Navigate to Advanced Settings: Go to the “Advanced” tab.

Change UMA Frame Buffer Size: Find the “UMA Frame Buffer Size” setting and change it from the default 1GB to 4GB.

Save and Exit: Save your changes and exit the setup utility.
