Checking the battery life on an Xbox One controller is a straightforward process. There are two methods you can use:

Method 1: On-Screen Display

Turn on your Xbox One console.

Turn on your Xbox One controller by pressing the Xbox button in the center.

On the screen, you should see your profile picture in the upper-left corner. Next to your profile picture, you'll see the battery indicator for your controller. This indicator shows the current battery level.

If the battery is full, you'll see a full battery icon.
If it's partially charged, you'll see a partially filled battery icon.
If the battery is low, you'll see a nearly empty battery icon.
