Steps to Connect a Wired LAN Cable to Xbox One:

Turn off your Xbox One: If your Xbox is currently on, turn it off completely. You can do this by pressing and holding the Xbox button on your controller, selecting "Turn off console," and confirming.

Locate the Ethernet Port: On the back of your Xbox One, you will find an Ethernet port. It's usually located near the other ports like HDMI and USB. It looks like a larger phone jack.

Plug in the Ethernet Cable: Take one end of the Ethernet cable and insert it into the Ethernet port on the back of your Xbox One until it clicks into place. Make sure it's securely connected.

Connect the Other End to Your Router or Modem: Take the other end of the Ethernet cable and plug it into an available LAN port on your router or modem. If you have a router, these LAN ports are typically labeled LAN, Ethernet, or numbered (e.g., LAN1, LAN2).

Power On Your Xbox One: Turn on your Xbox One by pressing the Xbox button on your controller or the console itself.

Configure Network Settings (if needed): In most cases, your Xbox One will automatically detect the wired connection and configure the network settings. However, if it doesn't, you may need to set up the network manually. To do this, go to "Settings" - "Network" - "Network settings" and follow the on-screen prompts.

Test the Connection: Once the LAN cable is connected, you can test the connection by going to "Settings" - "Network" - "Test network connection." This will check if your Xbox One is successfully connected to the internet through the wired LAN cable.
