How to Accept Friend Request & Add Friends on Xbox One Console (Fast Tutorial)
1Accepting Friend Requests:
Sign In: Turn on your Xbox One console and sign in to your Xbox Live profile if you're not already signed in.
Access Notifications:
Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Navigate to the "Community" tab (it looks like two people).
Select "Notifications."
Review Friend Request: In the Notifications menu, you should see any pending friend requests. Select the friend request you want to accept.
Accept Friend Request: After selecting the friend request, you'll have the option to accept or decline it. Choose "Accept" to add the person as your friend.
Confirmation: You'll receive a confirmation message indicating that you've accepted the friend request.
Adding Friends Manually:
If you want to add friends manually, here's how:
Sign In: Sign in to your Xbox Live profile on your Xbox One console if you're not already signed in.
Open the Guide:
Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Navigate to the Friends Tab:
In the guide, go to the "Community" tab (the one that looks like two people).
Select "Friends & clubs."
Find Friends:
In the "Friends & clubs" menu, you'll see options to "Find someone" or "Add friend." Select one of these options.
Enter Gamertag: If you know the Gamertag (Xbox Live username) of the person you want to add, enter it in the provided field. Make sure you enter it correctly.
Send Friend Request: After entering the Gamertag, select "Add friend" or a similar option (the wording may vary slightly). This will send a friend request to the person.
Confirmation: If the person accepts your friend request, they will be added to your friends list, and you will receive a notification.
