How to Add a Guest Account for 2 Player Coop on Xbox One (Fast Method)
Sign In to Your Profile: First, turn on your Xbox One console and sign in with your Xbox Live profile if you haven't already. You'll need to be signed in as the primary player.
Start the Game: Insert the game disc or launch the digital game that you want to play in local co-op mode.
Connect the Second Controller: Turn on the second Xbox One controller and make sure it's connected to the console. You can do this by pressing the Xbox button on the controller. If it's already connected, you should see a light on the controller indicating which player it is (usually player 2).
Join as Guest: In most cooperative games, a pop-up or on-screen instructions will appear, prompting the second player to join. This typically involves pressing a specific button on the second controller, such as the "A" button. Look for on-screen prompts that say something like "Press A to Join" or similar.
Customize Guest Profile (if needed): Depending on the game, you may be prompted to customize the guest profile's name or appearance. Follow the on-screen instructions to do so if desired.
Start Playing: Once the second player has joined as a guest, you can start playing the game together. The gameplay experience and options may vary depending on the specific game, but most cooperative games will allow you to enjoy local multiplayer fun.
