With Windows 11 still being in its early stages, users are going to run into bugs and problems with the operating system. When this happens, an important part of troubleshooting the issue is to know what edition, version and specific build of Windows 11 that you're using. Thankfully, Microsoft makes it easy to get this information quickly.
Now let's walk through the steps to check your Windows 11 build version.
Step 1. Navigate to your Windows 11 home screen, and then press the "Windows" and "I" keys at the same time. The Windows Settings screen will be displayed.
Step 2. Scroll down to the bottom of this list of options, and then click "About." The About screen is shown.
Step 3. Scroll down to the Windows Specifications section, where you'll see what edition of Windows 11 you're using, the version, what date that version was installed on, and the specific build of the operating system you're using.
