To completely appear offline on your PS5 Pro and not be seen by friends, follow these steps:

Using the PS5 Pro Console:
Log In Offline (Before Sign-In):
When you boot up your PS5 Pro, you'll see the user selection screen. Highlight your user profile.

Press the "Options" button on your controller while your profile is highlighted.
Select "Appear Offline" from the menu that appears. This will log you in with your status already set to offline.

Change Online Status After Logging In:
If you're already logged in, from the PS5 home screen, press the PlayStation button on your controller to bring up the Control Center.
Navigate to your profile icon (it's the second icon from the right in the Control Center), and press "X" to open your profile menu.
Select "Online Status."

From the options, choose "Appear Offline."
Using the PlayStation App:

If you want to ensure you appear offline before even booting up your console, you can use the PlayStation App on your mobile device:
Open the PlayStation App and log in with your PSN account.
Go to the "Play" tab, then tap on the Gear icon (Settings) in the top right corner.

Scroll down to "Console Management" and select "Online Status."
Choose "Appear Offline." This setting will apply when you next log into your PS5 Pro.
