This video will show you how to compress or uncompress a compressed file archive (such as zip, bzip2, gzip, tar, wim, xz, 7z, etc.) completely free of charge and easily (more commonly known as how to zip and unzip). Benefits of compressed file archives include:
-The ability to group many files into one file archive, making them easy to send to others (for example, by E-Mail)
-The ability to password-protect and encrypt files stored in the file archive, ensuring that only those with the password can extract and view its contents
-The ability to reduce file size and split large files into smaller files, facilitating the backup and storage of data amongst storage mediums such as writable CDs or DVDs
