By configuring Cisco Switches with STP in a network topology using GNS3, you provide a redundant environment.
In the Standard Spanning Tree configuration, you must manually configure Layer 2 Cisco Switches as Root and Secondary.
You can use 2 methods in configuration mode to configure a Switch as #Root #Bridge;
1. You can configure this by changing the priority value.
2. You can configure it using the root Primary command.
In this video tutorial, we will use the Root Primary command to configure a specified Cisco Switch on the network as Root Bridge.
