Connecting a new remote to your Amazon Fire TV is quite straightforward. Here are the steps you can follow:

Turn on your Fire TV and make sure it’s on the correct input.
Hold the new remote close to the Fire TV (within 10 feet).
Press and hold the Home button on the new remote for about 10 seconds.
You should see a message on the screen indicating that the remote is paired.
If the above steps don’t work, you can try pairing the remote through the Fire TV settings:

Go to Settings on your Fire TV.
Select Controllers & Bluetooth Devices.
Choose Amazon Fire TV Remotes.
Select Add New Remote.

Press and hold the Home button on the new remote for 10 seconds.
Select the new remote from the list when it appears on the screen
