How To Connect A SATA SSD To A MacBook Using A USB C Thunderbolt To SATA Adapter Cable
46In this video I'm showing how to connect a bare SATA SSD to a MacBook using a USB C to SATA cable adapter. While this cable isn't strictly Thunderbolt, Thunderbolt is USB C compatible which means that the cable will work on a Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 port.
For this example I've used my MacBook Pro M1 Max, which has Thunderbolt 4.
