This setup allows you to use your TV as a second monitor, extending your PC’s desktop for enhanced productivity or media viewing. Ensure your PC and Fire TV Stick are on the same Wi-Fi network for a smooth connection.

Connect Desktop PC to TV with FireStick & Extend Displays (Wireless)

Requirements: Fire TV Stick, Windows 10/11 PC with Miracast, TV with HDMI, same Wi-Fi network.

Steps:

Set Up Fire TV Stick: Plug into TV’s HDMI, connect to power, select HDMI input, connect to Wi-Fi, update software.

Enable Mirroring: On Fire TV, hold Home button, select Mirroring or go to Settings - Display & Sounds - Enable Display Mirroring.
Connect PC: On PC, click Notifications - Connect or press Windows + K, select Fire TV Stick.

Extend Display: Press Windows + P, choose Extend. In Display Settings, set resolution (e.g., 1280x720), arrange displays, adjust scaling if needed.
Test & Use: Drag apps to TV screen. Set TV as audio output in Sound Settings if needed.
