How to Display Mirror iPhone to LG TV - Full Guide
Mirroring your iPhone to an LG TV allows you to share photos, videos, apps, or presentations on a larger screen. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for wireless and wired methods, covering AirPlay, third-party apps, and HDMI connections, tailored for LG TVs (2012 models and newer). Follow these steps to set it up seamlessly.
Method 1: Mirror Using AirPlay (For 2018+ LG TVs)
Check AirPlay Compatibility:
Confirm your LG TV supports AirPlay 2 (2018 webOS 4.0 or newer, e.g., OLED, QLED, NanoCell, UHD series). Go to Settings - General - About This TV to verify firmware.
Connect to Same Wi-Fi:
Ensure your iPhone and LG TV are on the same Wi-Fi network (check in Settings - Network - About on TV).
Enable AirPlay on TV:
Press Home on the LG remote, select AirPlay from the Home Dashboard, and ensure AirPlay is turned on in AirPlay & HomeKit Settings. Set Require Code to First Time Only or Use Password for security.
Start Mirroring:
On your iPhone, swipe down from the top-right corner to open Control Center.
Tap the Screen Mirroring icon (two overlapping rectangles).
Select your LG TV from the list of devices.
Enter the AirPlay code displayed on the TV if prompted.
Your iPhone screen should now mirror on the LG TV.
Stop Mirroring:
Open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, and select Stop Mirroring.
