How to Connect Android Phone to Smart TV & Screen Mirror (100% Works!)
Connect & Screen Mirror Android Phone to Smart TV with Roku 4K (Wireless)
Requirements: Android phone (Android 4.4.2 or later with Miracast support), Roku 4K (Streaming Stick/Ultra), Smart TV with HDMI, same Wi-Fi network.
Steps:
Set Up Roku 4K: Plug into TV’s HDMI, connect to power, select HDMI input, connect to Wi-Fi, update software.
Enable Screen Mirroring on Roku: Go to Settings - System - Screen Mirroring - Screen Mirroring Mode, select Prompt or Always Allow.
Access Screen Mirroring on Android: On phone, go to Settings - Connected Devices - Connection Preferences - Cast (or Smart View/Screen Mirroring, depending on device). Alternatively, swipe down for Quick Settings and tap Cast/Smart View.
Connect to Roku: Select your Roku 4K from the list. Accept prompt on TV if required.
Mirror Screen: Phone screen mirrors to TV. To share specific content (e.g., photos/videos), use apps like YouTube or Google Photos, tap Cast icon, and select Roku.
Extend Display (Optional): Android doesn’t natively extend displays to Roku. Use a third-party app like AirDroid Cast for extended display functionality.
Stop Mirroring: Go to phone’s Cast settings, select Disconnect, or press any Roku remote button.
