Do you want to know how to pair or sync your New PS4 Controller to the PS4! Make sure your PlayStation 4 console is turned on.
Connect the controller to the console using a USB cable. Use the micro USB port on the top of the controller and the corresponding USB port on the front of the console.

Press the PlayStation button in the center of the controller to turn it on.
Once the controller is connected and turned on, it will automatically pair with the console. The light bar on the controller will change color and eventually settle on a solid color, indicating a successful connection.

Once the controller is paired, you can disconnect the USB cable if desired. The controller will now communicate with the console wirelessly.
