By default, Apple lets you, or anyone else who gets access to your iPhone, access a wide variety of features while your device is locked. This includes the ability to access Siri, your Apple Wallet, your notification center, return missed calls, and more. Thankfully, if you're not comfortable with other people potentially being able to use these features while your iPhone is locked, Apple makes it easy to customize and disable those features while your iPhone is locked.
Now let's walk through the steps to customize what features you can access while your iPhone is locked.
Step 1. Tap to launch the "Settings" app. You'll land on the Settings menu.
Step 2. Scroll down this menu, and then tap "Face ID and Passcode." Enter your iPhone passcode if prompted. You'll land on the Face ID and Passcode screen.
Step 3. Scroll down to the Allow Access When Locked section, where you'll see a list of features you can allow access to while your iPhone is locked. This includes the ability to access Siri, your wallet, return missed calls, see your notification center, and more.
Step 4. Tap to toggle off any features that you don't feel comfortable that others could potentially access while your iPhone is locked. Those features will no longer be accessible while your iPhone is locked going forward.
