This video shows you how set-up a brand new Samsung Galaxy smartphone in a way so that you don't end up installing bloatware on your new phone, and if you do have bloatware, how to uninstall and disable it, additionally this video also shows you some super useful tweaks you should do on your NEW Samsung smartphone.

Please note: This video is mainly for entry-level (M and F) and mid-range (A) series Samsung smartphones, flagships like Note 20 ultra don't have any bloatware installed on them.

3. Uninstall and disable apps that you are not going to use: 2:50
4. Prevent galaxy store from installing additional apps: 4:15
5. Turn off 'Discover' in-app drawer: 5:08
6. Sort apps alphabetically in the app drawer: 5:35
7. Change 'Glance' to Dynamic Lockscreen: 5:44
8. Disable 'App Cloud': 7:00
9. Get battery % in the status bar: 7:40
10. Show more than 3 notifications in the status bar: 8:16
11. Brightness slider on top of the notification panel: 8:24
12. Turn on Dark mode (Black theme): 8:56
13. Drop down the notification panel by swiping down on the home screen: 9:26
14. Fingerprint scanner gesture: 10:00
15. Prevent your phone from accidentally waking up in your pocket or hands: 10:35
16. Check for software updates: 11:23
