By default, the Reddit app on Apple iPhone and iPad devices saves a copy of every page you visit locally on that device. While this is great for letting you see your history, and giving you a faster experience when you visit posts you visited previously, it can begin to eat up valuable space on your device. Thankfully, if you need to free up a little space on your iPhone or iPad, deleting your Reddit search history is a great way to do it.

Now let's walk through the steps to delete your Reddit search history on an iPhone or iPad.

Step 1. Launch the Reddit app on your iPhone or iPad. You'll land on your Reddit home screen.

Step 2. Tap your Reddit profile at the top of the screen to open a menu, and then tap "Settings" in this menu.

Step 3. Scroll down to the Advanced section, and then tap "Clear Local History" in this section. A window pops up asking if you're sure you want to clear your local Reddit history on this iPhone or iPad.

Step 4. Tap "Clear Local History." A message pops up briefly letting your know that your local Reddit history has been cleared on this device.
