In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to delete the "System Volume Information" folder in Windows. This folder stores important system data, but if you need to remove it for specific reasons, follow these steps carefully to do it safely.
The System Volume Information folder contains restore point entries and is usually not recommended for manual deletion.
To remove its contents, stop the Volume Shadow Copy service by opening Services via services.msc, finding the service, and changing its status from "Started" to "Stopped." After that, take ownership of the System Volume Information folder and delete its contents.
