How to Delete your Instagram Private messages 2022
19In this video, I'm going to show you how to delete your Instagram private messages in two different ways. So open up the Instagram app on your phone and tap on the messages icon in the top right corner, which looks like the paper aeroplane. If you want to delete a complete chat, then long press on the specific chat that you want to delete.
You'll now see a pop-up menu, just tap on the delete button again and then one more time tap on the delete button, just a note on this, remember that the other person or people in the conversation will still be able to see the messages unless they deleted themselves. Now, I'm going to show you how to delete your own individual message.
So again go into one of your chats and if there is a specific message that you want to delete long press on the message and tap on unsend and tap on unsend when a pop-up menu appears select unsend option and confirm that you want to delete it.
