In this video, I'm going to show you how to send encrypted emails with Gmail confidential mode. So, go ahead and open up Gmail on your browser, click compose, to create a new email and in the bottom of the draft window, click the confidential mode icon. It looks like a padlock placed next to the clock.

Now, choose an expiration date. After the expiration date on a confidential email passes, no-one will be able to access the contents of the email. Not even you. Make sure the option for SMS passcode is turned on. This enables Google to lock your confidential message to everyone but the person you're trying to send the message to. Click the send button.

A new prompt will appear asking you to enter your recipient's phone number. That is what Google will use to verify the recipients identity before allowing them to access the email once you enter in the phone number. Tap on the send button, and your confidential email will be sent. Hope you found this video helpful.

Thank you for watching until next time. Peace.
