Step 1. Tap to open the "Settings" app on your iPhone, and then tap "General" in this menu.

Step 2. Tap "Screen Capture" in this menu. The associated screen opens.

Step 3. Tap to toggle off "CarPlay Screenshots." Going forward, when you take a screenshot while you're connected to Apple CarPlay, you'll no longer capture screenshots from the CarPlay screen in addition to your iPhone screen. You'll just capture your iPhone screen.
