To disable the built-in microphone on your PS5 controller through the settings:

Open the PS5 Control Center

Press the PS Button on your controller to bring up the Control Center.
Access Sound Settings

Navigate to the Sound option (the speaker icon) in the Control Center and select it.
Adjust the Microphone Settings

Go to the Microphone section.
Select Input Device and ensure it's set to a different mic or choose None if you want to disable all microphone input.
Mute the Controller Mic Directly

Alternatively, press the Mute Button (located below the PS button) on your DualSense controller.

When the orange light appears on the Mute Button, the controller mic is muted.

Permanent Disable (Optional)

If you want to permanently disable the mic:
Go to Settings - Sound - Microphone.

Set the Microphone Status When Logged In to Off. This will mute the mic by default when you start up your console.
