About this video: Our goal with this video is to give you a complete guide on how to download and install Fabric 1.19 in Minecraft. Fabric is the second most popular Minecraft mod loader. However, some of the Minecraft Fabric mods for 1.19 truly are incredible, and in this video, we show you exactly how to install Fabric Mods in Minecraft. From map mods to performance mods to Fabric tech mods, this video will show you how to use Fabric mods in Minecraft 1.19 no matter what, so let’s jump right on into it!
The first step is learning how to download Fabric 1.19. You can find the link to download Fabric in the description above. This will take you to our texture tutorial for how to install Fabric mods. On this page, scroll down and click the yellow ‘Download Fabric’ button. You will then be taken to the official Fabric download page.
On the Fabric 1.19 download page, click the ‘Download universal jar’ link. The Fabric installer will then start downloading. Once it is downloaded, right-click on it and select ‘Open With’, ‘Java’, and click Okay. In the Fabric Installer, make sure that 1.19 is selected and then click ‘Install’. Fabric 1.19 will install.
Now, we can move on to how to download Fabric Mods for 1.19. Now, there are tons of different Fabric 1.19 mods. For this example, we are going to use the FabricAPI, but all Fabric mods are installed the same way. You can find a download link for the Fabric API above. That will take you to our website where you can click the ‘Download FabricAPI’ button to go to the official download page on CurseForge. CurseForge is where most Minecraft Fabric mods will be hosted. On this page, look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down to the ‘Minecraft 1.19’ section. Under that, you will see the 1.19 version of the mod you want. Click the download button to the right of it and the download will begin.
After you have your mod downloaded, it is time to get it installed. Open up the Minecraft Launcher and click ‘Installations’ at the top. Hover over your Fabric version and click the folder that appears. This will open your .minecraft folder. You should have a mods folder here, but if you don’t, just create one! Finally, to install Minecraft Fabric Mods, just drag-and-drop the Fabric Mods you want into this mods folder. It’s that easy.
To use Fabric Mods in Minecraft 1.19 though, go back to the Minecraft launcher and make sure that you are playing Minecraft with the Fabric installation. Do this by hovering over it and click Play and click Play again on the menu that appears. Minecraft 1.19 will then open with Fabric mods installed!
