Why would you want to make a Paper Server in 1.19? Well, Paper is an optimized version of Minecraft’s server software. It fixes things like entities and chunk loading to increase performance for your server. It also allows you to get plugin on a Minecraft server. So, without anymore delay, here is how to start a Paper MC server in 1.19!
First things first, we will need to download the PaperMC files. You can find the link to download Paper 1.19 in the description above. When you click that, it will take you to our in-depth text tutorial for start a Paper server. There, scroll down and click the ‘Download Paper’ button. This will take you to Paper’s official website. On this download page, click the little cloud download button next to the most resent version of Paper 1.19. PaperMC will start downloading.
Once Paper is downloaded, created a new folder on your desktop called ‘Paper 1.19’ and add the Paper Minecraft file you downloaded to it. Then, right click in this folder, click create, and select New Text Document. Then, open this document in notepad. After that, copy and paste the code from the description above into this text document. Click file, save as, and name the file ‘run.bat’. Also make sure that you are change the ‘Save type as’ to ‘All Files’. Save the document.
In your Paper 1.19 directory, you will now have a run.bat file. Double click this file, and an eula.txt file will generate. Open this file with notepad and change ‘eula=false’ to ‘eula=true’. Save the eula.txt file and double click the run.bat file again. Your Paper Minecraft server will start for Minecraft 1.19!
You can now open up Minecraft 1.19 and join the PaperMC server using ‘localhost’ as your IP address. However, if you want your friends to join your server, you will need to port forward.
