About this video: This video is our complete guide on how to download and install Just Enough Items in Minecraft 1.19. What is Just Enough Items? Well, it is a mod that has all of the features that Too Many Items had for Minecraft, but it is updated to Minecraft 1.19. Specially though, JEI 1.19 allows you to search all of the blocks and items available in Minecraft. It even searches modded blocks and items. You can then click on these items and see their crafting recipes. From there, you can click a + button to add them to a crafting table allowing for one click crafting! So, without anymore delay, here is how to get Minecraft 1.19 Just Enough Items!
The first step of adding JEI 1.19 to Minecraft is download and installing Forge. You can find our complete Forge 1.19 installation guide in the description above. It goes over everything you need to know to add Forge to Minecraft for 1.19. We even cover some issues you could have when getting Forge.
After you have Forge installed, we can move on to how to download Just Enough Items for Minecraft 1.19. You can find the JEI mod in the description above. You will then be taken to our text tutorial for getting 1.19 Just Enough Items. On this page, click the ‘Download JEI’ button. This will take you to the Just Enough Items official download page. Look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down to the Minecraft 1.19 section. Click the orange download button to the right of this version. JEI 1.19 will start downloading after a few minutes. You may need to keep or save Just Enough Items depending on your browser.
Finally, we can install Just Enough Items in Minecraft 1.19. Do this by opening up the Minecraft Launcher, clicking ‘Installations’ at the top, and hovering over your Forge installation. A folder will appear. Click that folder, and your .minecraft folder will open. Here, you should see a ‘mods’ folder. If you don’t, just create a mods folder! Finally, drag-and-drop 1.19 JEI into this mods folder to get installed.
Now, you aren’t completely done yet. You still need to come back to Minecraft 1.19, and click the green play button that appears on Forge when you hover over it on the installations tab. Click Play again confirm you are playing modded Minecraft and 1.19 will open up with Just Enough Items.
