Optifine adds a ton of different optimization settings that allow you to increase your FPS and play Minecraft 100% lag free. So, let's go ahead and get on into it.
Before we can install Optifine, we need to get it downloaded. Doing this is actually really simple and easy to do. Just click the Optifine download link above, click the green 'Download Optifine' button, and then, find the 1.13.1 version of Optifine on the download page. After that, all you need to do is click the 'mirror' link next to the most recent version. This will take you to another page where you want to click the blue 'Download Optifine' link in the center of the page. Optifine will then download. You may have to 'keep' the file to let it download. Optifine is completely safe and has been downloaded by millions of people.
Once you've got Optifine downloaded, we need to install it.
