How to download offline maps in google maps. In this tutorial, I show you how to use google maps without any data or cell service. This tutorial shows you how to download offline versions of Google maps that will allow you to use navigation and view business information without data or cellphone service. This tutorial works for Apple iPhone and Google Android.

Download offline Google Maps:
1. Open Google Maps
2. Open the menu
3. When the menu sidebar opens, select Offline maps
4. Once Offline maps opens, choose Select Your Own Map
5. Select the area of the map you would like to download and choose Download
6. You have now download offline maps in Google Maps

Offline Maps on Google Maps refresh every 30 days. By default this happens only over WiFi. This setting can be changed in the Google Maps app.
