How to download Windows 8.1 Evaluation 64-bit or "Windows 8.1 for Free". We will be installing Windows 8.1 legally on the cheap AMD build in order to properly test games. Here's how to get it free (well, for up to 6 months at least).

The eval copy is 90 days, but it allows you one reset (called a REARM) using the following process...
1- Search for CMD. Right click on it and select Run as Administrator.
2- In the Command Prompt window type slmgr -rearm and hit enter, you will get a notification “Command complete successfully”.
3- Close the command prompt and restart your PC. You should have one more extension of 90 days.

Anyway, here's how to get the ISO legally from Microsoft.
After the time limit(s) are up, it will restart every hour until you buy and install a legit copy - or download another trial ISO image and reinstall it for another trial period(s).
