PC Gaming. Inconvenient Truths - Hardware - Part 2... I thought I would do a little investigation piece on the myth of PC hardware. Can we build a PC for gaming cheaper than we can buy a pre-made one?
In this video we construct an Alienware Alpha Gaming PC (formerly referred to as a SteamBox PC). As SteamOS never materialized as a basic gameOS (still in development), SteamBox PCs now became Windows 8.1 run devices. This one in particular doesn't come with a keyboard, but only an Xbox Wireless Controller. So we created one as cheaply as we could with available parts.. how low could we get it?
