PC Gaming. Inconvenient Truths - Hardware - Part 2... I thought I would do a little investigation piece on the myth of PC hardware. Can we build a PC for gaming cheaper than we can buy a pre-made one?
Setting our sights a little higher - can we create a Dell XPS 8700 cheaper maybe? With an i7-4790, 16Gb and Nvidia Discrete Graphics card - can we do better? With all the work it takes to have something shipped in, put it together, install the OS, install all the drivers and tweak it to get it the way we like.. is it worth a savings? It's not up to me to tell you - its up to you to decide.
