How to Eliminate the Background Noise on Microphone on Streamlabs OBS (Filter Tutorial)
To increase the microphone volume in Streamlabs OBS by adding a filter, follow these steps:
Gain Filter:
Right-click on your microphone input in Streamlabs OBS.
Select “Filters.”
Click the “+” icon to add a filter.
Choose “Gain” from the list.
Adjust the gain slider to your desired level (start with +3 to +6 dB).
Click “Close.”
Compressor Filter (Optional):
Add a compressor filter to level out your audio input.
Set the Compression Ratio to 10.
Set the Threshold to -18 dB.
Leave other settings as they are.
Limiter Filter (Optional):
Right-click your audio source (can be done from the “Sources” window or the audio mixer itself).
Click “Filters.”
Look for the “+” at the bottom left of the new window and select “Limiter” to prevent audio peaking
