How to Fix the Color or Brightness on Camera in Streamlabs OBS (Add Filter)
Improving your webcam quality in Streamlabs OBS (SLOBS) can enhance your streaming experience. Here are some steps you can take to adjust the color and brightness settings:
Camera Settings in SLOBS:
First, add your camera as a video capture device in Streamlabs OBS.
Right-click on the video capture device and select “Properties.”
In the properties window, you’ll find options to configure settings for your camera.
Resolution and FPS:
Change the “Resolution/FPS type” to “Custom.”
Choose the resolution based on your camera’s specifications (e.g., 720p or 1080p).
White Balance and Exposure:
Uncheck “auto” for white balance and adjust the setting to achieve the best color representation.
Under the “Camera Control” tab, uncheck “low light compensation” and “exposure” so that you can manually set the exposure.
Color Correction Filter:
Add a color correction filter to your camera source.
Adjust the following settings until you’re satisfied:
Gamma: Controls overall brightness.
Contrast: Adjusts the difference between light and dark areas.
Brightness: Fine-tunes overall brightness.
