If you’re planning to factory reset your PS5 Pro before selling it, follow these steps to erase all data and return it to its original state.

⚠ Important Before Resetting:
✅ Back up your data (if needed) via Settings - Saved Data & Game/App Settings - Saved Data (PS5/PS4) - USB Drive or Cloud Storage.
✅ Deactivate your PS5 as the primary console for your account:

Go to Settings -Users and Accounts.
Select Other -Console Sharing and Offline Play.
Choose Disable.

Step-by-Step: Factory Reset PS5 Pro
Go to Settings from the home screen.
Select System - System Software.
Choose Reset Options.

Select Reset Your Console.
Choose Full Reset (This deletes all data and accounts).
Confirm by selecting Reset again.
Your PS5 will restart and begin the reset process.
