How to Transfer Video Clip to USB Drive on PS5 Pro for Computer (Settings Tutorial)
To transfer a video clip from your PlayStation 5 Pro to a USB drive for use on your computer, follow these steps:
Prepare Your USB Drive:
Format Your USB Drive:
Ensure your USB drive is formatted to exFAT for compatibility with both PS5 Pro and most modern computers. Here's how:
Connect the USB drive to your PC.
On Windows: Right-click the drive in File Explorer, select Format, choose exFAT, and click Start.
On Mac: Use Disk Utility, select your drive, click Erase, choose exFAT, and confirm.
Note: Formatting erases all data on the drive, so back up any important files first.
Transferring the Video Clip on PS5 Pro:
Access the Media Gallery:
From the PS5 Pro home screen, go to Media Gallery (it's one of the icons on the home screen).
Select Your Video Clip:
Navigate to Captures where your video clips are stored. Select the video clip you wish to transfer.
Copy to USB:
Press the Options button on your controller while the video is selected.
Choose Copy to USB Storage Device. If this option doesn't appear, ensure your USB drive is connected and properly formatted.
Select Destination:
You'll be prompted to choose which USB drive to save the file to if more than one is connected. Select your drive.
Confirm Copy:
Confirm the action if prompted. The PS5 Pro will copy the video clip to the USB drive.
