How to use 2 Controller to play a Game on PS5 Pro (Settings Tutorial)
Using two controllers to play a game on the PlayStation 5 Pro involves a few steps, primarily depending on whether you want to play cooperatively with both controllers controlling one character or if you're looking to play a multiplayer game where each player has their own character. Here's how you can do both:
For Cooperative Play (Assist Controller):
Enable the Assist Controller Feature:
Go to Settings on your PS5 Pro.
Navigate to Accessibility.
Select Controllers and then Use Second Controller for Assistance.
Turn on Use Assist Controller.
Pairing the Second Controller:
Make sure your second controller is off. If it's on, press and hold the PS button until the light bar turns off.
Press and hold both the PS button and the Create button (the one next to the touchpad) on the second controller until the light bar starts blinking.
Assigning the Controllers:
Using the first controller, navigate to the user selection screen when you turn on your PS5 or when starting a game.
Select the same user for both controllers.
Now, both controllers will function as one, allowing cooperative play where one player can assist the other in controlling the same character.
